221 subdivision homes closed escrow in the month of June 2012. This compares to 173 in the month of May and it is the highest number of closings since July of 2011.
Although this is terrific news for sellers, it should also be noted that inventory of subdivision homes in Maricopa AZ increased during the month of June by almost 22%, from 156 homes to 190. This has occured even tough this number has remained relatively stable for the prior three months. There are a number of underlying reasons for this and I will address them in my weekly Maricopa Housing Market Report tomorrow. Needless to say, these are very unpredictable times for the Maricopa Arizona housing market. That being said, opportunites will exist forĀ informed buyers and sellers during this market shift and should be taken advantage of.
