If you are a senior citizen living in Maricopa, Arizona you know that our community offers you many options for a rich lifestyle full of unusual activities to enjoy. Whether you join other Senior citizens for a card game, arts and crafts, bingo or a board game, there are plenty of activities at the Copa Center.   You might also take advantage of the delightful Spring weather and join with others for a quiet chat in the park, there’s always something happening on the Senior circuit in Maricopa!

That is especially true in April, when you can take in Central Arizona College’s Spring Guitar Recital.  Add to that the featured Student Art Exhibit and you can plan to have a great time with the Arts!  The recital takes place on April 5, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Maricopa High School Performing Arts Center.

Talented guitar students from the college will take to the stage and present a night of relaxing guitar.  The art exhibit features aspiring artists from the CAC Student Artists program.  The event is free but seating is limited to 300, so an RSVP will ensure that you can take your place among those who really appreciate the best in guitar music.  The event is sponsored by the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce and takes place at the Maricopa High School which is located at 43800 W Honeycutt Road.

After the concert, don’t forget to walk through the art gallery and speak with the young artists. They always appreciate feedback and you’ll be sure to enjoy their insights on their art.  Yes, Maricopa is Senior-friendly, enjoy!
