Fannie Mae Suspends Foreclosures for the Holidays

This article confirms that Fannie Mae will again suspend foreclosures during the Holidays. I expect most of the others to follow suit shortly. This is very nice of them but it makes me wonder that since the period is so short are they just giving their staff some extra time off or is this REALLY meant as a humanitarian effort? Flip a coin but I’m betting on the former.
