I’ve attached an article that summarizes the The 2010 National Association of Realtors® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers. There is some interesting information here it can help refocus your efforts in finding buyers and sellers.
It was interesting to note that 64% of buyers interviewed only one agent. I believe that this underlines the importance of doing all you can to increase your exposure and hopefully be the agent they call first. Of course, they key is to answer your phone or return their call immediately as most studies show that you have less than five minutes before they decide on another realtor.
