Panel at 2010 NAR Convention: Housing Market Outlook
This article features a few interesting comments from a panel of “experts” at the NAR Convention.
I totally agree that Realtors need to educate themselves and adjust their business plan, if they have not already done so. ANY market is a good market in my opinion. It’s just a metter of adapting to it and taking advantage of the opportunities it offers.
I disagree that normalcy is beginning to return. In fact, I don’t care hopw long it takes. To me, it meands that the real estate schools will be filled again and they will churn out a bunch of folks that have no business being in the business to begin with. I know a number of agents that have taken on other jobs and are waiting for the “normal” market to return. It may be harsh but if you can’t make it in this market you should find another career path!
Wish I could have been there this year. I LOVE New Orleans and had a blast at the last convention there. But. I’m leaving on a two week cruise next week and couldn’t do both. Priorities are a son of a b…..!
